Spanish canned seafood (known as conservas) is a favourite in bars and restaurants across Spain. Harvested and handpicked off the shores of the Galician coast in northern Spain, these clams (almejas) are a true delicacy in the best tapas restaurants and bars across the country. Once delivered to the Conservas de Cambados facility located close to the shoreline, they are delicately placed by hand into each tin, filled with brine and sealed to maintain freshness.

Depending on yield each fishing season, size of clams vary resulting in different quantities in each tin.
